The judges visited our museum and commented “This is a truly beautiful and engaging visitor attraction. Not only are the tapestries wonderful pieces of art but they bring the story of Quakerism to life. It’s an attraction you could visit many times and see something new. We were especially impressed by the education value and learnt so much from our visit. A peaceful haven in the middle of Kendal”

The Quaker Tapestry Museum is a unique place that celebrates the history and culture of the Quaker community in Britain. The Quaker Tapestry alongside a diverse collection of objects, showcases the traditions, beliefs, and practices of the Quakers from the 17th century to the present day.
