Your red carpet awaits… we love group visits!

You will receive a warm welcome inside the Georgian Meeting House (1816).

Sit, relax and be treated to a 10-15 minute introductory talk about how the tapestry project began.

We have all the facilities you would expect of an award-winning venue, and our trained staff and volunteers can help you plan your perfect day out for your group.

Discount admission tickets for groups

We offer a specially reduced admission fee of only £5.50 per person for pre-booked groups of 15 or more. This includes a free introductory talk about how the Quaker Tapestry began, plus the organiser goes free!

How much time will you need for your group visit?

To make the most of your visit, please allow your group at least one and a half hours to view the exhibition and other displays, plus additional time if you have booked refreshments or lunch from the Courtyard Cafe.

As well as the many panels of embroidery, visitors can enjoy additional displays, large screen films and interactive features, and use our free multi lingual audio guides to enhance their visit.

We offer a warm welcome to everyone at the Quaker Tapestry and the Museum is professionally designed with facilities for all. We have step-free access via the Stramongate entrance to the building and the whole Exhibition area, including the shop and cafe, is easily accessible to wheelchair users. “We were entranced not only by the Tapestry panels and the social history on display but also by the ambience of the Meeting House, the interpretation and information made available to us. It is a very good memory for us.”
