Vigils for Peace

Quakers have publicly witnessed for peace on many occasions, often with others who share their concern. For instance, in 1968, about 650 Quakers held a vigil for peace outside Westminster Abbey and were joined by some of the clergy.  In the panel, we see some of the Quakers, who in 1980 walked from Friends House on Euston Road to Trafalgar Square to become part of a bigger demonstration.
