Group Visit to Quaker Tapestry

Did you know that we can help you organise a group visit?

A group visit to Quaker Tapestry is the perfect day out. There’s something of interest for every type of group: sewing crafts, social history and Quaker history. Along with the many panels of embroidery visitors enjoy: additional specialist displays; large screen films; interactive features; multi lingual audio guides to enhance their visit.

We can offer your group…

  • Reduced admission fee for pre-booked groups of 15 or more people.
  • Free introductory talk about how the Quaker Tapestry began.
  • Free exhibition entry for your group organiser.
  • Free exhibition entry for your coach/minibus driver.

Here’s what this weeks group visitors have told us…

”Thank you for the warm welcome extended to us yesterday. Everyone enjoyed the visit very much. The tapestries are beautiful from a decorative point of view but the background of each one increased the appreciation of them immensely. We found the origins of the many worldwide recognised companies completely fascinating”

”Thank you for all you did to make our visit so enjoyable.  All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the morning and were fascinated with the Tapestry – the introductory talk really brought it to life, we thank you for that and very much look forward to visiting the Tapestry again”

There is step-free access via the Stramongate entrance to the building and the whole Exhibition area, including the shop and cafe, is easily accessible to wheelchair or walking aid users.
