Donate to the Quaker Tapestry

The Quaker Tapestry is a registered charity and receives no funding from government, Central Quaker Funds or the Lottery. In order to continue our work in preserving the Tapestry and exhibiting it for all to enjoy, we rely on your generosity.

Each year we endeavour to meet all the costs involved in preserving and exhibiting the Tapestry, however income from admissions, the Gift Shop and the Meeting House Cafe only cover around half of our costs. This means that we are dependent on the generous donations of our members, supporters, charitable trusts and local bodies for the remainder.

Please read our latest Appeal Leaflet.

All Donations Directly Support the Work of the Quaker Tapestry

As well as the ongoing preservation and exhibition of the Tapestry, your donation helps us to develop new subsidiary exhibitions and run our annual Roadshows, as well as educational work, publications, conservation activities and volunteer support.

Don’t Forget Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please Gift Aid your donation (simply tick the box on our donation form or let us know when you donate). This allows us to claim a further 25p from HMRC on every pound you donate at no extra cost to you.

For example, if you donate £50, the Quaker Tapestry receives £62.50. Please make sure you complete the Gift Aid section on the donation form. UK taxpayers can also give tax-effectively through the Charities Aid Foundation.
