The Quaker Tapestry Exhibition and Meeting House Cafe have all the facilities you would expect of an award-winning venue, and our trained staff and volunteers can assist in planning a perfect day out for your group.

How much does it cost for groups to visit The Quaker Tapestry?

We offer a specially reduced admission fee of only £5.50 per person for pre-booked groups of 15 or more. This includes afree introductory talk about how the Quaker Tapestry began, plus the organiser goes free! Special refreshment options and prices are also available for groups.

How much time will be needed for a group visit?

To make the most of your visit, please allow your group at least one and a half hours to view the exhibition and associated features, plus additional time if you have booked refreshments or lunch.

As well as the many panels of embroidery, visitors can enjoy additional displays, large screen films and interactive features, and use our free multi lingual audio guides to enhance their visit.

Is the exhibition accessible to everyone?

We offer a warm welcome to everyone at the Quaker Tapestry and the Exhibition Centre is professionally designed with facilities for all. We have step-free access via the Stramongate entrance to the building and the whole Exhibition Centre, including the shop and cafe, is easily accessible to wheelchair users. We also have toilet facilities for all. Please read our Access Statement on the Access Page.

Does the Meeting House Cafe cater for group visitors?

The Meeting House Cafe welcomes group visitors so you may choose to round off your visit there. Alternatively, we offer special refreshment packages for groups, which can be eaten either in the Meeting House Café or in one of our specially appointed function rooms.

Light Refreshments £2.50 

A drink and home-made biscuits, choose from a cup of tea, herbal tea, fresh coffee or fruit juice.

Group Lunch £6.95

Home-made soup with a selection of sandwiches and a choice of drink.

Afternoon Tea £4.45

A delicious selection of small home-made cakes and scones and choice of drink.

Can we purchase souvenirs of our visit?

Our carefully stocked Gift Shop contains a wide range of quality gifts to make an ideal souvenir of your visit, or a gift for friends and family.

Is there a coach drop off point nearby?

There is a convenient coach drop off point directly outside our Stramongate entrance, with parking for coaches situated a few minutes away at Blackhall Road. Directions and a map can be found on our Directions page.
