Quaker Tapestry Roadshow to Brighton

A BIG Thank you to Brighton for a wonderful Exhibition in February 2010!
Brighton Quakers are creating their own embroidery panel a la Quaker Tapestry! They started work on the panel well before the winter Roadshow arrived... it all began in May 2009 when Bridget went to Brighton to teach Brighton Friends the embroidery stitches and techniques. Following that a few of them visited Kendal to attend the second stage workshops... the design progressed during the year 2009 and in February 2010 Friends were embroidering the panel during the Roadshow! We will keep in touch with them and let you know how they are getting on.... watch this space....!
