Family Fun in May
Tue, 25 May 2010 23:37:08 GMT
To launch the NEW Children's Activities we invited Donna Campbell, a local community textile artist, to spend the day with us at the exhibition. We had great fun with the Activity Bags.... there were stories and sewing games and lots of things to do....
This year we’re pulling out all the stops with a new display, new family activities and you can even enjoy a family picnic from the award winning Tapestry Tearoom
All aboard for our new display on Railways - Full Steam Ahead including a working model railway!
- Explore the exhibition telling stories through stitch from over 350 years of history.
- Have fun with the children’s activity bags, dressing up and toy box, all new for 2010.
- Children Under 5 Go Free!
- To celebrate our new family activities and picnics we have a special ticket offer this year - £2 entry for an adult with a child aged 5 or under.
- Treat yourself to a snack or lunch in the Tearooms – ask about our KIDS MEAL DEAL!
- Borrow one of our picnic rugs and enjoy a picnic of goodies from the Tearooms out in our garden.
