The Quaker Tapestry, exhibitions, workshops and guided tour of this historical tapestry

Membership

The Exhibition Centre at Kendal carries on with the work Anne Wynn-Wilson started in 1981. The communication, education and community project continues to thrive - the Exhibition Centre is a living museum with visitors from all over the world coming to see the project. The workshops and the panels are an inspirations to all those wanting to create new projects of their own, large or small.

The friends or members of the Tapestry are a network of people from around the world who contribute a small subscription every year to the Tapestry to help with the work we do. In return we keep in touch with our members through the biannual newsletter which gives up-to-date information about the Tapestry and Exhibition Centre.

Every year members receive:
  • A free Quaker Tapestry Calendar
  • A biannual Newsletter.
  • Free entry to the Exhibition Centre at Kendal.
  • An invitation to attend the annual general meeting weekend of activities and events.
  • A full colour mail order catalogue showing the Quaker Tapestry books and gift items.

The Quaker Tapestry relies heavily on subscriptions, donations and the generosity of time given by the volunteers, so the membership is a welcome addition to the finances. Any surplus income from subscriptions will go directly toward the work of the Tapestry.
