Discover your Creativity
Learn new skills and make new friends as you become absorbed and fascinated by the ancient art of narrative embroidery.
Our workshops are held at the Quaker Tapestry Museum in Kendal and are tutored by Bridget Guest and Carole Butcher who have a wealth of experience both in embroidery and in the Quaker Tapestry. Bridget has been involved with the Quaker Tapestry project since 1994 and will share with you the secrets of the stitches!
The Half-day 'Taster' or refresher sessions
In just one morning you can learn the six stitches and create a little picture to take home with you. Ideal for both the absolute beginner and those who wish to improve or refresh their skills. Come along to our relaxed and friendly workshop and be inspired by the Quaker Tapestry as you learn the stitches and techniques. 2016 Workshop dates.
